Waffles in a Jar

I love having meals in the freeser or in the pantry that are read to go or nearly done.  Not only can my kids make their own food, if this is in a pretty jar (not one I found at the recycle center and just washed) then it also makes a great gift.

Simple to mix and I often make 10-12 at a time.

Add to each jar:

2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking power
2 tbsp white sugar

Thats it.  Its really easy.   Then I write on the jar (or a pretty label if it is a gift)

"Add: 2 eggs, 1 1/2 cups milk and 1 tsp vanilla.  Cook in a warm waffle iron."

In under 20 minutes I can make a dozen of these and either gift them or store them in the pantry.
